What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Lake is highly praised for its beautiful campground, clean facilities, and well-maintained trails, making it a favorite destination for camping and horseback riding. The friendly camp host and the serene environment contribute to a positive experience, with many guests expressing their desire to return. However, some visitors noted maintenance issues with the showers, limited cell service, and the need for upgrades in certain areas, but these did not significantly detract from their overall enjoyment.

The campground was very clean. The trail around the lake is well maintained. Scenery was beautiful and my stay was very relaxing. The camp hosts were friendly and very helpful. Loved my stay and plan to return.

Beautiful Campsite. A bit confusing checkin, someone was in our site--haha.

Campgrounds are very well maintained. The Fire ring at our campsite was clean when we arrived and the bathrooms were well-maintained. The only complaint was that numerous dogs were off-lease at campsites and on walking trails.

Had a great time. Spot 27. Our group had 26 and 28. Spot 26 fit a small travel trailer. All 3 were fairly level. Fishing dock behind these. Super calm small lake. Great hiking trail around the lake. Restrooms clean. Showers had good pressure and warm water. Camp host was excellent. Be careful when coming in to read signs. Make a left at stop sign to go to Sandy south shore. If you miss this turn you’ll have to turn around. Try doing it at the dump station before you got too far north. Watch low lying limbs! We had a great time and will be back.

This was the most peaceful, clean, quiet and beautiful campground I've been to in Oklahoma. I can't wait to go back and stay longer. The camp hosts were a visible presence and they maintained the grounds and facilities wonderfully. Everything was clean; restrooms, trails, campsites. I so much appreciated the quietness of the campground, that made it possible to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay in northshore campground. We did reserve a site w/out electricity and our solar panel and battery didn’t work which made it a troublesome time. But the kayaking made it all better. What a beautiful area.

The area is nice and quiet. Camp sites are well taken care of. Fire pits cleaned out and the over all campground is clean. The facility’s, showers and bathrooms need attention. Drains plugged and lights out. Need the spider webs cleaned off as well. Hosts where friendly. Issues don’t appear to be related to the hosts but to the maintenance staff or lack of. But that is why I have an RV, I take my own facility with me.
