The most peaceful, scenic, pine-surrounded mountainous campsites in Oklahoma! The camping spots are far enough apart to feel private. Many are close to the water. They’re kept clean, but be sure to bring shower shoes. They finally have the water warm enough in the showers. The hiking trail around the lake is very beautiful, but you’ll need a walking stick for the terrain. We’ve been coming here almost 50 years and can’t get enough. Be sure to dine at Southern Belle in Heavener!

This is a really nice horse camp. There is plenty of room between sites, pens are nice, water and electric is a plus, bathroom/shower house is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The lake is a short hike away and a beautiful 2.9 hike around. People are extremely friendly and helpful.

Cedar Lake is the best equestrian camp around. Everything is maintained beautifully. The sites are amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone who has horses and wants to camp.

This is “ Heaven in Oklahoma “. One of the must visit areas for the the evergreen lover. Is well kept and campsites are all via paved access. NO SEWER, but good dump stations and adequate showers. Small fishing lake with a nice sandy beach area. NO LARGE BOATS. Great walking trail.

The horse trails are beautiful but very rocky. Shoes are needed for sure. Had a great time.

Beautiful Campsite. A bit confusing checkin, someone was in our site--haha.

Campgrounds are very well maintained. The Fire ring at our campsite was clean when we arrived and the bathrooms were well-maintained. The only complaint was that numerous dogs were off-lease at campsites and on walking trails.
