The facilities were clean, firewood and ice was stocked. The campground was quiet you could hear tons of wildlife at night. I would stay here again.

Great time kayaking with friends. Campground is always clean and well maintained. Remember there is NO cell service in the campground, but that is a blessing! (You will get service at various places throughout the refuge.)

We had no idea before reserving a tent site that the park bordered an Army base—- no big deal EXCEPT we heard artillery fire for 12 straight hours. LOUD tank exercises which reverberated through the campground until probably 4 a.m. So instead of enjoying the peace and quiet of tent camping, we felt like we were being shot at all night. I wish the proximity to the base had been more obvious on the website.

Campground well taken care of and everything so beautiful. I was totally shocked at how squeaky clean the toilet and shower facilities were. They were seriously and totally clean.
They DO need to fix one of their campground directional signs though. One or more did not give directions to our campsite number, LOL
