Campsites are well maintained, bathrooms & showers very clean and the camp hosts kind & helpful! Our site was only a ten minute hike to Little Baldy which has spectacular views. For some really fun bouldering take the left side on the Charon’s Garden trail and hike Elk Mountain. We did have troubles with some very bold raccoons, so make sure you contain & strap closed any food items.

First, I want to say Quentin Smith was a blessing. He took time to tell us about the campground and gave us a history lesson. The campground was beautiful, peaceful and for the most part clean. The trails and scenic drives were breathtaking. The camping spots were spacious and well cared for. We are already planning another trip when it is cooler. The only improvement needed is to have cool air set up for the bathrooms and showers in the summer. We loved it!
