We really like the campground for RV camping. We bring our own water though since the CCRWD4 water is not so good and extremely hard. The camp host is always so nice and helpful. Beautiful setting in the trees, etc. It would be better if there was cell phone service so we could check on our family at home.

I have been camping at Doris campground for many years now. This trip was exceptional. The weather was perfect for fall camping, quiet except for the occasional coyotes yelping. It was a clear night sky so the star gazing was amazing. I will definitely be back.

My brother & I camped at Doris during a limited draw elk hunt on the refuge, so we were there in late November for 4 days/3 nights. We camped at space 41 in a canvas bell tent with a wood burning stove inside. We utilized the shower and toilet facilities & found them to be very clean and comfortable…having a hot shower every evening after hiking all day for elk? Yes please! The campground itself was quiet & clean. We met the host, and he was very friendly & helpful. The only minor complaints I would have are the complete lack of cell service at our site (AT&T, not the park’s fault!) and somewhat poor signage…our first few trips in/out of the campground were unnecessarily scenic as we tried finding our way around. Overall , it was really nice & I hope I get a chance to go back someday!
