I really hate to write a good review, because I don't want everybody and their dog showing up and ruining it for me. I started going to Heyburn Lake years ago when my boys were young. I like the idea that there is a guard shack where everyone has to go through. And that the whole park is locked up at night, I could tell my boys "I don't care what you do, bike, fish, swim, (we live in the next town over so they always ran into someone that they knew from school) just have fun, and stay out of my hair" (what little I have left I'm trying to protect) even if they stayed out till way after dark, I knew that they were safe. A few years ago I was between jobs so i just took the summer off and my youngest and I spent (32) nights their that summer, that is something the he and I will never forget. I have never met any other campers or staff that was not as helpful and friendly as they could be. I plan on going back multiple times a year for many years to come. Thank you.

We had a pull through site. The park was lovely. the view was good and the campers were polite and pets were well minded. Our only complaint was the location of the water connection. It was so far from our hook up we had to drive to Sapulpa and buy an additional water hose to hook up the water.
