Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Keystone Lake

We recently hosted a company event for our members and their families at Jellystone Park at Keystone Lake, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. They even had welcome signs made specifically for our company, which was a thoughtful touch that made everyone feel appreciated.

Check-in was quick and effortless, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Throughout the day, the staff checked on us several times to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed.

The entire facility was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for hosting a large group. Their attention to detail and excellent customer service made our event a huge success. We were so impressed that we've already decided to make this an annual event for our company. Thank you to the entire Jellystone Park team for an amazing experience!

This is truly the worst place I’ve ever camped. To start, due to the flooding they had last week, the swim beach is underwater and not useable and the WiFi receiver is also underwater and not working. Those things are out of their control, so while frustrating, not a huge deal, but a heads up before arriving would have been nice. Next, Keystone Lake has their swimming areas shut down due to debris in the water and the bacteria levels being high, but Jellystone still has their water obstacle course open and when I asked them about if they were testing the water for bacteria, the guy told me “that’s Keystone Lake’s water, not mine”. I replied “okay, I just thought since you were allowing your guests on your equipment in that water, you’d want to make sure it was safe to swim in.” He rudely replied something again about how it’s not his water and not his responsibility to test it. On to the next thing, one of the big reasons we chose to stay here on the 4th of July is because for weeks now, Jellystone has been advertising being able to see the Pier 51’s fireworks from Jellystone on July 3rd. When we called, on July 3, to ask where the best place to watch them, they said that we actually may not be able to see them, but we might be able to see a different show on Saturday night, but they weren’t for sure. They were advertising being able to see specifically Pier 51’s firework show the morning of the day the fireworks were supposed to be (I’ll post screenshots of the posts). I asked them IF we were able to see them, where would we be able to see them from, they told me. We parked there and definitely could not see them. False advertising to try to bring in more people. Their pool is tiny and they can’t possibly put a limit on how many day passes they sell because there were so many people in the pool today that you actually couldn’t move. It was comical. The bathrooms are small and not well maintained. The buildings are dated and small. You can’t just go buy firewood, they have to deliver it to you and charge you $25 for a bundle because “they are out of the small bundles”. If you’re going to stay anywhere in Loop A (I’m not sure about Loop C, could be just as bad), be prepared to hear trains all day and night. And I don’t mean in the distance. I mean, the train is RIGHT on top of you. It’s so loud and shakes the whole camper. We stayed at a Jellystone in Tyler, TX and had a great experience. This Jellystone is not that. This is all of the worst things about a resort campground with none of the positives and all of the worst things about a state park without any of the positives. And on top of that, this place was just as expensive as the one in Tyler, TX. For what? I cannot figure that one out. Not nearly enough amenities to justify the price, terrible customer service, and false advertising. We will never be back to this location.

Great park with one of the best pool area/splash pads we’ve seen at a Jellystone. The staff is very friendly. All while situated on a huge lake with massive wibbits. Our family had a blast here. I’m glad we stopped here on our travels.

It's a great place to take the kids! They thoroughly enjoyed it! We wanted to camp-out the water levels were too high so the lake was closed. There are plenty of tables with umbrellas for shade, lots of seating, and even have cabanas for an additional cost. We will definitely return!

We stayed in a rented RV here Mon-Friday. We have decided it will now have to be a yearly tradition we loved it so much. My son is 11 and enjoyed all the park has to offer. The basketball court across from our campsite was an added perk. We all played on the inflatable obstacle course and had so many laughs and so much fun watching each other fall off. We did learn water shoes with some grip on the bottom are a game changer for the adults who get tired of slipping off. The slides were fun and the pool area was nice. The owners and staff are very kind. We locked ourselves out of the RV and the staff or owner, not sure which, came to see if he had a spare key to help us out. When that didn't work he told us about a place in town to try and they came out with a spare key and got us unlocked. The lake is beautiful and not at all busy during the week. We had a whole island to ourselves and plenty of room to pull kids tubing without any other boats coming around us. Definitely recommend!
