What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with level campsites, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities. However, there are some concerns regarding the lack of showers, inconsistent bathroom cleanliness, and issues with site maintenance, such as steep drop-offs and unclean firepits. Overall, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and are looking forward to returning despite some minor drawbacks.

Campsites are always clean from trash and or debri. The camp post are super friendly as well as the park rangers who makes several trips throughout the campsites to ensure there are no issue. I have been camping at lakeside for several years, best thing is that they have more “lake” front camping.

Was very disappointed in the fact the complete Lakeside area needed mowing so bad, the grass was over 18" tall and the ground was dry. The grass was so tall a local camper went home and brought his personal mower and trimmer to take care of his location before setting up his camper.
The entrance gate was not regulated and closed/locked as it should be, this allowed anyone, at any time to enter and drive around the camping areas making guest feel unsecure.

The water level was rising so we had a waterfront camping spot. The fishing was great!

Park clean, fishing real good from the bank, fish cleaning area clean, camping site clean. We had good time with family. Eleven year granddaughter got hook on fishing. We all had a good time even 92 year old mom. Her and 5 year old granddaughter had good time finding lady bugs. Thanks for a real good Mimi vacation. We will be back.
