What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with level campsites, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities. However, there are some concerns regarding the lack of showers, inconsistent bathroom cleanliness, and issues with site maintenance, such as steep drop-offs and unclean firepits. Overall, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and are looking forward to returning despite some minor drawbacks.

The fish cleaning station is wonderful. I wish we had more shade in our site and the water had receded but all in all the camp site is very well maintained. Bathrooms had paper in them.

I was on site F6. Sand burrs are getting out of hand all over the park. I had to stop several times to pull them out of my dogs paws . Bring your own weedeater as they do not keep the sites or areas mowed. Lots of tree stumps that were cut ground level and now they are rotting out and leaving big holes. You need to watch your step as i almost broke my ankle several times and this was in the day light. This site is 30 amp with good service. My rig is a 50 amp but we made due. Water spigot is a long way from all of these sites. Bring at least 50 foot of hose, better yet 75 foot. I really like lakeside and one of my favorite campgrounds on Texoma. The weekend we left they were almost maximum site occupied. They really need to pump some of these fees back in the park.

Wish the lake hadn't been down. I'm sure this is a beautiful spot when the lake is up.

G35 did not have a fire ring. The picnic table was a long ways away from the pad. No lighting to try and park at night. Grass was tall. Never saw the camp host till the time we were leaving. And that was just to do the reservation signs. Would not recommend this site
