What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside campground offers a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and good fishing opportunities, making it a favorite for many campers. While the updated camping loops D through F have received positive feedback, some campers noted issues with bathroom access, cleanliness, and the need for better maintenance in certain areas. Overall, visitors appreciate the scenic views and peaceful atmosphere, though some improvements are still desired, particularly regarding facilities and site conditions.

Beautiful campground and lots or lakeside views. Online reservation tool was a pain to use via cell phone but I'm also not e-savvy. Needs to be a little more user friendly. Biggest issue as a tent camper was the proximity to train tracks with active trains several times during the night putting a damper on the serenity of chirping crickets. I'll return though. Well kept grounds and clean bathrooms.

Love the area. Lots of space for the grandkids to play and not a lot of traffic up and down the road. We stayed before but different site but we will be coming back and bringing our buddies that camp with us.

While the location of the 2 sites I booked were excellent, we encountered way too many ant hills. We even had one swarm a tent. I am unfortunately still dealing with the effects of too many bites. We were unable to use the picnic table at D3 at all due to 2 different types of ants. We loved the view and proximity to the water. We also liked how close to the bathrooms it was. I do wish there was an option to have colder showers, the water was way too hot.

The last two times we was there we had problems with the breakers flipping and causing us to lose all power. We was on the lake all day Saturday and came back to a very hot camper. We ended up having to go to the front and ask to move down two spots. Both times we have been there the grass has never been mowed at any of the spots. The actual park itself is very quite.

The 50 amp service had something wrong with it. My rear air in Motorhome started mocking bad noises & I checked my amp meter & it was spiked with a overload ok Caint stay here
When I reported it the lady started blaming me
Saying it worked fine a couple of days ago all I wanted to do was let them know there was a problem..... not to get lectured by someone on the phone

Need to post an updated pictures. There’s very little to no shade at this spot. Also you can’t swim here.
