We were disappointed that our site had recently been graded and most of the trees removed. Thank goodness it wasn’t raining or, we would have been camping in a mud pit.

Park and park keeper were among the best. Had an electrical problem that resulted in entire outlet exchanged; fixed within a couple hours. Plenty of room between sites and space to enjoy. Property well kept. Steep decline to the beach area and more mud than water. Lake was no more than 2-3 feet deep with at least as much mud. Not great for boats. Lots of birds to watch.

The campground is in excellent condition, and it would be an easy decision to return again in the future. The only downside is that you may be disappointed about the lake view. This was due to lower than expected lake levels. I am not sure if that normal, but it made an impression on my visit. The good thing is that it is a short drive to other areas of the lake other lake activities.

small but clean park, we spent one night, very quiet. Does need some repairs in some spots.
