Porum Landing

Excellent camping. We have been camping at Porum Landing since 1999. We go at least once every year. Love it.

It's always nice and the prettiest part of lake Eufaula, always clean and well maintained, just wished that they would redo all the pads to make it more convenient to level your trailer .

We travel with a 5th wheel.
Our campsite was very up date, level, 50 amp, water. However the site was very close to three other sites (I mean close) and offered no privacy. Other campers were parked at our site so as to make parking our truck difficult.

We stayed for 5 days and had a good time after we got our 31’ 5th wheel level. Leveling was pretty difficult. Water was down about 4’. We have stayed in this spot several times before and love it. We have 2 long haired dogs and the stickers were worst than ever before. This was probably due to campground being closed for most of the summer due to replacement of water faucets. Our spot didn’t look like it had been mowed and trimmed in at least a month. The day we left they were mowing. Don’t know if they were going to weed eat or not. Still had a good time.

Site #24 is in a beautiful location but has deteriorated to a point it's difficult to set up. The asphalt has crumbled and is essentially nonexistent. Year after year it keeps getting worse. I wish the CORPS of Engineers would address it. If you are looking for a level site and one that's in decent condition, you need to find another one!
