The park was mostly nice. Our experience was good, no real issues. We had a great time. The camper spots we rented were pretty bad, basically just gravel mounds mostly leveled with no sitting area. You walk out of your camper and its a steep slope. However, it appears they are systematically upgrading the spots. The park has several very nice full concrete hookups with covered tables. Also there's a nice pavilion with a rock fireplace that comes with 5 camper hookups. This is the best deal for a group at $65/night. We reserved at the last minute (our fault) otherwise we would have gotten the better hookups. So reserve early and get the better concreted areas with the covered tables when you go!
I would recommend this park regardless if you get a poor camper sight. The lake is nice & camping ain't about hanging out at your camper.

On-site camp hosts were extremely helpful and courteous. My original reservation was cancelled by the Corps due to high water, and a portion of my fees were said to be credited to my card, however, not the full amount. I do not understand why I did not receive a full refund since the original campsite was cancelled before I arrived.
