While some facilities, such as restrooms and electrical hookups, require upgrades and maintenance, the park remains well-maintained overall, with friendly staff and clean camping spaces. Our trip was good. The campground is a little old but in pretty good shape. I just wish people would pick up their trash, fire rings are NOT trash cans by the way. The lake is unique with all its coves and arms and overall fairly narrow width.

This is a beautiful park, but it is in need of some love from the USACE. Right now, there are 5 RVs here, including us, and we're all in the same area - there are whole loops of the park not being used. The bathrooms are dated, but clean. Interior roads are in good shape. In the picnic area near the swimming beach, many of the picnic tables are broken. The one shade structure near the swimming area is full of wasp nests - there are a lot of wasps here generally. The lake itself doesn't seem very busy at all - we've seen maybe five boats on the water in as many days.
We're in A loop (50amp & FHUs). Except for the two or three concrete sites (#1-3 I think), not many of the sites are flat and level. We are in A15 in a 35' MH and almost could not get level, even using our leveling blocks. Riding through the other loops on the bikes, it appears that most of them need an appointment with a dozer to get level.
Water pressure is okay, but the spigot is a good 85-90' away from the site. Thank goodness I had spare waterhoses on board.
Electricity at our pedestal is running a little hot at 126-130 VAC. We've had two alarms on our EMS for high voltage (+132VAC).
It's a nice place to come hide out, and we'd return, but make sure you bring an EMS with you so you don't fry your onboard appliances.

Good shade but undeveloped ground, made it impossible to level camper.
