What Guests Are Saying
Kiamichi Park offers beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campsites with stunning lake views, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spacious sites, especially in the Juniper loop. However, some experienced issues with weather-related cancellations, communication, and maintenance, particularly concerning overgrown grass and restroom accessibility. Overall, guests express a strong desire to return despite minor inconveniences.

Kiamichi Park is a beautiful, well maintained park! The campsites are spaced far apart and each one has beautiful multi-colored natural rocks on either side. The playground is really nice and the loaner station for life jackets is awesome! It was very windy the weekend we went (November 2020), and there were about 10 other campers/RVs in our area. In another loop, we saw only one pop up trailer. It is a great place for the kids to ride bikes or go for a run. We wished we had brought fishing poles because there were several boats with fisherman and they have a lovely little marina too. And, because we have a national parks pass, we paid half of the fee, which ended up only being $10/night. You can't beat that!

The park has always been neat and clean. This includes the restrooms. I really enjoy a fire in the evening and the sites have new fire rings as well as a new grill. Two thumbs up!

Great park, location and facilities. Hate the online reservation system. If you drive there to see what spot you want you better have good phone service! Spots get reserved for one night keeping you from getting it and then they don’t show up! No one there to cancel there spot so you can reserve it! Bad system!!!!!

Very clean and peaceful. Park attendants are always very nice. The corp is making improvements on the park all the time. We love it there!
