What Guests Are Saying
Kiamichi Park offers beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campsites with stunning lake views, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spacious sites, especially in the Juniper loop. We always enjoy our camping trips to Hugo Lake. It is always nice and quiet and clean. I was happy to see new buoys out in the lake.

This park was beautiful and we had a great site our on the peninsula.
But severe storms came up and we were battered by the wind. The trees were all shaking and some large branches came down really close to us. We were worried our RV would sustain damage. More storms were coming so we decided to leave after our 2nd night of our 1 week reservation. We went to the Rattan Landing COE on the other end of the lake that was more protected from the wind and not under any trees.
We requested a refund for the last 5 nights at Kiamichi online at Recreation.Gov. The helpful lady on the phone said it was up the park manager to do that, and she could put in the request for us, saying it was weather related. We never got a refund or an email either allowing it or denying it either.
The biggest problem was it still tied up the next five nights of our America the Beautiful Senior Access Pass, so we could not use it at Rattan Landing COE, so we had to pay full price for the next 5 nights.
Can you please see about our refund?
We liked the park, and will come back.

Bathroom was locked and no attendant available. The grounds were kept well.

We were in #11. We really liked this spot as it wasn’t crowded at all. We had plenty of room to set up our screen gazebo. 13 and 14 were extremely close together. #10 was a nice size pad, however, there is no yard to speak of.

I was okay with the water being turned off at the sites. I came with water, but to not have any showers or public restrooms in the campground opened is a first in my camping experience. A heads up would have been nice.

Love your lake. It's close to my daughter's house and we enjoyed our time there.

The Juniper loop is so lovely with sites spaced well apart. Wildlife and birds everywhere you look.

Even during the “shutdown “ everything was good, bathroom and campgrounds. My only complaint is the goathead stickers are terrible. Even being careful i had them in carpet. Glad we didn’t bring our dog.
