What Guests Are Saying
Kiamichi Park offers beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campsites with stunning lake views, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spacious sites, especially in the Juniper loop. However, some experienced issues with weather-related cancellations, communication, and maintenance, particularly concerning overgrown grass and restroom accessibility. Overall, guests express a strong desire to return despite minor inconveniences.

Beautiful park. Bath House is old but functional. We are self contained so didn't use the bath house. Site was level and paved.

Nice view, good facilities. The previous campers kind of left a mess. Overall a good stay.

We showed up to our campsite and someone was in our spot. We tried calling every number possible including this Recreation.gov number. No one answered except for recreation.gov… yay, finally someone answered but we were told they couldn’t do anything about it. We told them that the spot next to the site we book was open and asked if we could just move there. We were told no & that we would have to contact the people at the guard shack. Once again, no one would answer. We ended up just parking in the spot that was open and had to deal with it the next day but obviously if the park was full, this would have put us in a huge bind. I think if recreation.gov is able to schedule then they should have the right to change it when something like this happens. The communication was is absolutely awful and I will not be booking before I show up to the site anymore so that I can insure I have my spot available.

Good campground roads, excellent water pressure, steady electrical supply, level campsite (J-11), very rough speed bumps near entrance shack.

We loved this place. We had a beautiful site with a great view of the lake. Even with electric and water, it felt very primitive. We were almost the only people there. Signage to get to the site was poor but park staff was helpful. Would def go back.

Juniper road is an excellent area to camp in with 50 amp electric service and easy to back in campsites. Allows lake access for boats and excellent views of the lake.

The water was brown and rusty looking coming out of the water hook up sight. The grass was over grown on the utility side. There was a fire ban. Kind of defeats the purpose of camping but nothing on the sight stated there was a fire ban, so no campfire. The gates for entrance lock at 10pm but you cant check in till 6pm, again not on the website. Last but not least-fire ants every where! They bit my husband, me, the kids. We will not do this campsite again. Aug. 31st 2024

Sites were very nice and well spaced. Plenty of room between sites. Full hookup site with large covered tables.
