Camp host were rude and interrogated visitors. Do not be outside you camper after 10 or you threatened to have the Osage county and highway patrol called. I will not stay here again. Grounds are okay and look to be making improvements. However water spigots can either be next to your cite or 100 feet away, come prepared.

The older lady at gate was a nuisance went around everyday. Looking for reason to squawk at people ended up leaving in middle of night was invaded by millions of bugs, never seen this at other parks ...

Not as clean as other local areas. Construction during major season does not make sense to me.
Restroom near my site closed to public but construction personnel was using it. Closest open restroom had scorpion in the sink and on floor. Roach looking insect came out of toilet paper roll.
Piles of brush need to be burned or removed.
Water faucet not close to site. Need multiple hoses to hook up.
Rusted barrel on shore close to swim area and sharp wires on swim boundaries. No bottom in cooking grill and fire ring full of plastic and trash.
