I had extra water hose but it was not enough to reach the nearest hydrant. I now have enough. Take more than you think you will need.

We really enjoyed our stay at Birch Cove. Site 28 was close to the water so we could put our kayak in pretty easily. The restrooms were new, but only capable of one user at a time, so often the restroom was in use and locked. Not a big problem unless the campground was full.

The attendants are absolutely amazing and the campground is very well taken care of. They have a couple new bath houses that are very nice and taken care of everyday. Yes there is wild life that you will be living around and some tall grass in the trees. Be prepared to have at least 125 ft of water hose as some of the water hook ups are not right next to campsite and some can even be across the road. All in all it’s an amazing campground and we will be back.
