Not my favorite place to camp. Lots of gnats. Grass wasn’t mowed recently.
But staff was friendly and helpful.

Great campsite. Views of the water were amazing. Facilities were clean and spots were well taken care of. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is because the boat ramp is outside of the gates and they lock them at 10pm. Our favorite time to go on the water is at dark, especially if we are fishing, so this makes it impossible to do that without leaving our boat and vehicle outside the gates. Other than that, I don't have any complaints!

We have never been to this campsite before. We booked #33 and when we got there we could not get our trailer level. The site was so unlevel that our leveling system on our trailer kept saying default. After much effort to try to make it work, my husband went to the guard shack and talked to Barbara and one of the park rangers and they got us moved to #32. Needless to say we were so very thankful for their efforts in putting us in a different spot. We were there for a family reunion and we got to enjoy our 5 night stay because they went to extra effort to make it work for us to stay. We thanked them several times and wanted to let their upper command know that they went above and beyond to help us out. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

We had a beautiful site on the lake BUT the camper next to us sat up 2 of there Tents at the back end of our Toyhauler. We spoke to the Park Ranger he agreed it was wrong. Ya they didn't move. All 3 days of Father's Day weekend.

Awesome park, love the shade and wind block we got from the trees. The trees let just enough wind through to keep us cool but we could leave our awning out most of the time. Site 22 had a nice walk way down to the water and beautiful lake access. Public restroom was clean and well kept, staff was nice and friendly. We will definitely return and try to get site 22 again.

For the most part was nice only thing that was bad was the 2 foot tall grass around our campsite. Just a little frustrating that I had to bring my own weed eater to knock down the grass before I could even enjoy camping
