Lovely lake, peaceful park, and our space was right on the water with a great view of boaters, birds, turtles, and other wildlife. It was a wonderful visit!

We were in the perfect spot! We will definitely return to this exact spot. But... the grass was not mowed. It was VERY high. A family member brought their weedeater for us to knock the grass down. Otherwise, it was a great weekend.

Beautiful location surprisingly crowded with camp sites very close together. Only a few restrooms that were about what you’d expect. A lot of noise with some not paying much attention to the curfews.

Quiet and private, overlooking the water and near a nice sandy beach.

I love going to Brooken Cove because the scenery is beautiful there, but was disappointed this time. The grass was high when we got there, and it was not mowed until the day before we left. (14 days) The grass around the playground area was so high that my granddaughter and I both were itching every time we got back to our motor home. Most people were bringing lawn mowers and weed eaters to mow around their sites. Thankful for a gentleman that mowed a trail around the playground.

I only give this 2 stars because the grass was so high (over my knees) we had to drive back home and get our lawn mower and weed eater to mow our own campsite and a spot down to the water. Very unhappy with the grass. Also, bring ant spray. Tons of fire ants everywhere. My children got bit 42 times between the two of them. Other than that, it was a great spot and place to camp.
