The campground restrooms and sites are well maintained. Sites are spacious and surrounded by trees. Plenty to do in the area especially if you are interested in Native American history and culture. Dump station was too far away to tow my portable waste water tank. Would have been a big problem if we stayed for a week.

Very beautiful and plenty to do even in the cooler months. We hiked and rode our bicycles on nearby trails. The town of Sulphur has several cute shops and restaurants if you are looking for something inside. The restrooms in the campground are very nice, well maintained, and have hot showers. We will continue to come back.

Absolutely loved this campground! Our site was STUNNING! We had a water spigot near our campsite that was so handy, the people around us were so nice, the whole campground was incredibly clean, the bathrooms and showers were warm and clean too! I’ve camped around the U.S. and this was one of my favorite experiences! We saw deer just outside of the campsite, and so many squirrels and birds! 10/10!

Been going here since I was a kid. Great Park. Park Rangers are very nice. Good clean facilities. Last time a possum waddled into camp. I gave it a dog treat and it waddled back out. Love this place!

Excellent experience. RV campsite was well maintained. There were only a few campers for the weekend. Bathrooms were clean. Perfect getaway.

Electric and water hookups, campfire spots, picnic tables, and hooks for lamps at everysite. Sites were large and level. I chose to be near the bathhouse and very much enjoyed the clean facilities and hot showers. Next time I'd choose to be closer to the lake. The rangers were friendly and present making me feel safe. My cell signal was just 2 bars but enough for me to still work from the site. I'll definitely return there to camp again.

We absolutely LOVE Buckhorn camping area. This is our third time to stay here. It is quiet and the stars are amazing at night. Town is close enough if you need something but you are far enough away. Always finding a new “spot” to explore on our hikes. Really enjoyed not having neighbors and getting to enjoy a taste of spring in January!!!!!!

Park Ranger was very nice as we were tent camping in subzero temps. We always have a great time tent camping at this location. The solar powered hot water leaves much to be desired.

Beautiful area. Good space between camp spots. Clean restrooms. We camped in January so only a few other campers around us. A little tight road with some low branches when coming into campground. 6 miles from waterfall area of Chickasaw National Recreation Area. We would stay again.
