The place was beautiful. The facilities are very well maintained and stocked. Didn’t have to ask for anything. The camp host was very friendly and help and one of the park maintenance workers named Amanda KINTOPP really went out of way to be helpful out on loop c!!

We had a tremendous time at Buckhorn! We had a site right on the lake and could swim at our whim. The campground host does a phenomenal job of keeping up this treasure! The facilities were spotless, plus there are showers, which is a rarity at NPS campgrounds. I couldn’t recommend it more, enjoy! I can’t wait to come back to Buckhorn.

The new recreation.gov is a mess. Campsites are labeled wrong and not being able to be refunded for your mistakes is no good.
Me and a friend have lost money on multiple campsites because we scheduled to camp the day before but had to change sites. Your five day cancellation policy doesn’t accommodate for that scenario. Again. Just not great.

Very nice facility. Campsites clean and well kept, restrooms and showers well taken care of. One of my top five sites I’ve visited, most highly recommended.
