Very nice facility. Campsites clean and well kept, restrooms and showers well taken care of. One of my top five sites I’ve visited, most highly recommended.

Was a good stay however, the problem I had was how so many tent campers didn’t clean up after themselves. Trash was left as well as dog waste. Apparently, it’s a party place for a lot of locals for holiday weekends. We didn’t have any issues but you could tell many people didn’t care about leaving it better than they found it.

Love this area. Camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. Sites are a bit small so not good for long RVs. Bathrooms are very clean and handicap accessible with nice big showers x2 in each Bathrooms. Out site as well as others around us were immaculate! Many sites have water view or access. Others are nestled in the trees for a more forest adventure. We saw so much wildlife in the area. Watch out for the squirrels. They are adorable when they sit up and beg.... but please don't feed them. Some sites are rather close together. Nice for friends or family traveling together. So sad to see that almost EVERY weekend is full here all the way through the summer. We stayed during the week but everything was full come friday and we had to leave. Great for walking even with a walker.

Had a blast! Lots of shade if you are into that. Clean campsites . Will be back. It does get packed if you don’t mind busy spots.

Beautiful campground area ,so many trees for shade, and the spots were nicely spaced apart. The Lake of the Arbuckles is very scenic. The restroom facilities were very clean. The heat for the showers is solar heat, so choose your shower time carefully to get some warm water. I have a long bed crew cab truck with a 42’ fifth wheel, and there were a couple of turns on loop C that I just barely made it around. The camp host came by to check on us one evening when bad weather was expected, he was teally nice. Overall, we had fantastic time, and will probably go back again.
