Stayed at 053C, Loop C in early May and I have to say it was a very beautiful camp site. Very clean, shady and accessible. The rest rooms / showers where excellent and the camp host at loop c and d are very friendly and helpful.
I would recommended it to my friends and family. I will be back!

Beautiful park, well maintained, staff was helpful and made frequent trips through the park. All sites were very nice, but would not recommend ours because it was 17" out of level front to back. The lake was very nice, low due to lack of rain. Veterans lake was close by as well. Great biking trails.

Beautiful area with lake. RV Site was very un-level. Had to use several blocks. No sites with sewer hook up. Another wasted opportunity to make a precious park a jewel.

Pretty place with great hosts. The dump station was closed while I was there (early April 2022) because a needed part for a pump was backordered. Fortunately, there is a state park nearby that I could have used, but I decided just to wait until my next stop. As others have noted, there is a lot of gunfire in the woods surrounding the campground (is there such a thing as spring hunting?), so I'm not sure the area is great for exploring by foot. The boat launch seemed nice, and I enjoyed just hanging out looking at the lake.

Beautiful place with easy access to the water. The shower houses were very clean as well as the whole campground. James was very nice and helpful both times I have camped here. 😊

The location was about 5 miles from the trails at Sulphur Springs. No cell service. Great camp host. Nice showers and bathrooms. We’ll definitely be back.

As always clean and great sites!! The camp host went out of his way make sure trash was picked up out side of the campgrounds. This is one of our favorite places to camp with the nature, scenery, clean facilities and the area. We have already made plans to return a couple of times this summer.
