There were so many trails and spots to get into the crystal clear water. We loved it! The bathrooms were nice and centrally located. The only issue was the sites are very close together.

Beautiful campground right across from refreshing springs. This was our second visit there and we stayed in spot 28, right across the street from Garfield and Bear Falls. Lots of shade in this campground, but not necessarily our campsite. Water pump available a few sites down. Park rangers patrol continuously as does local police, felt very safe there. Ranger Ron was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Bathrooms have no showers but were stocked with toilet paper and soap. The only drawback was the yellow-jacket-looking bees that were incessant. They didn't sting but were very annoying. Also, lots of raccoons and deer. Can't wait to come back.

I think #20 is the best in Cold Springs. At the end is more privacy. There is no one behind you with room to play in the woods. Bathroom is a short walk. Water is across the street.
