The site was clean and the bathrooms were also nicely kept. The ranger that was keeping people from just driving through the camp was also nice keeping my kids safe from cars. Overall it was a great time and we will be going again soon.

Great campground. Wish there were more photos of each site online. Less than a minute walk from any site to one of three or four water fall sites. Even when it’s packed full of people it’s fairly quiet and calm. Definitely recommend bringing rainflies for shade and some backwoods bug repellent to keep the critters away. Bathrooms are decent and kept clean. A few of the water faucets on the map were not there, but there was still plenty water faucets around where you didn’t have to walk far. The sites are not graded super well this year, but are not the worst I’ve been to. I like that there are a lot of small paths that go between campsites so you don’t quite feel like you’re walking thru others sites and don’t have to walk all the way around on the paved portion.

We have been camping at Cold Springs for over 40 years. Every year the rules change. It gets frustrating.

Loud .. multiple sources… Spanish polka music all day, kids screaming, not yelling, screeching, lights being shined into our campsite from people walking by… cars… etc… bathrooms were wrecked, swimming holes had garbage left all over, just 100% crowds of people that have 0 camping etiquette. We were ending a three week 3k mile tent camping trip and this was HANDS DOWN the worse night of our entire trip.
