Many people will come here to drink openly, yell, scream and party until 2:30am.
The campground host did not police anyone. It was constant noise, commotion and drinking literally until 2:30am.
Worst campground experience ive ever had

The campsite was clean however there were ticks everywhere. I've been camping here almost every year my entire life and have never experienced this. We lost count of ticks on us within the first 5 minutes even after using Repel. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after the first night.

It was my first time back to Cold Springs Campground in probably 20 years to camp, and my 2 girls first time to camp ever. We had a amazing time there. Will be back very soon

Lots of old food and animal feces on our camp site for us when we arrived. Smelt awful

My first time camping it was amazing definitely worth it. My only issue was rocky the raccoon lol but over had a great time with family

Really nice place to stay. Had one family that the kids were loud, the father got on to them and it was pure silence. Liked that it had hours for generators

Just wish it would state on website that fishing isn't allowed. My son fished all weekend and then on Sunday got told he wasn't allowed but I looked it up and it doesn't say it's prohibited. It would've saved me from an upset boy to know that in advance. Otherwise it was a nice time as always. Our favorite camping spot every year

From I-35, take Exit 55 and drive towards the city of Davis, OK. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7. Watch for Chickasaw National Recreation Area signs. Drive approximately 8 mi east of Davis to the only 4 way stop (Jct Hwy 7 and Hwy 177) in the city of Sulphur. Turn right for approximately 0.2 mi on Highway 177. Take the first left turn on NE Perimeter Road. Keep driving on NE Perimeter Road until you see the sign for Cold Springs Campground. The campground will be on your left.
Highway access
Cold Springs Campground is accessible via I-35, with Exit 55 leading to Highway 7. Highway 7 continues east towards Sulphur, connecting to Highway 177.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
