We actually camped with two other couples, so it was a wonderful experience for us. That was our second time to camp at the Point.

The lakeside spots have the prettiest views and best lake access of any of the Chickasha NRA sites. The downside is that it is more remote from the nice trail system over by Buckhorn. If you want to bike or hike, head to Buckhorn.

We absolutely love The Point Campground. We usually toggle back and forth between here and Buckhorn. Clean facilities. Camp host was kind. For those of you looking for firewood, there is a two story house located on Highway 7 in Sulphur right next to Braums. He has all sorts of firewood and you can buy as much as you'd like. We usually hit it up on our way to the campsite. He has a large front drive that you can pull your camper into.

Our campsite was clean, very spacious for a family to stay in. Campground host came through the loop a couple times a day and waved. So if we needed anything we could have flagged him down. The lake was great, and fish were biting.
