The camping spots were too close together. Nice for RVs I guess but I didn’t enjoy it for tent camping. Restrooms were super nice though.

We have been camping at The Point for over 15 years and are amazed at how well all sites and facilities are consistently taken care of. We have traveled over much of the US and always remark how spoiled we are at The Point. RV sites are level, spacious, furnished with water, electricity, a lantern pole, fire pit, and picnic table. Most sites have trees that provide shade and privacy. Tent sites are just as nice. Lake Arbuckle is part of this area and it is beautiful. Boat ramps are paved and wide. There are several beach areas and fishing docks available for use. Because this campground has become so popular, I would suggest making reservations well in advance of your stay.

Campground was well maintained. Sites were spaced far apart with lots of trees in between. Site drives and pads were gravel which made things a bit dusty. Lake of the Arbuckles is a great place for boating and fishing. There ate also a few short trails close to the campground. If time allows visit the Nature Center and surrounding trails which are mostly level and easy to hike. We had a great time here. We camped in a motorhome.
