What Guests Are Saying
The Point Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among returning visitors. Campers appreciate the spacious and private sites, friendly hosts, and convenient proximity to local attractions and Lake Arbuckle. Despite some issues, like a non-working water spigot and limited cell service for certain providers, many guests express their intention to return due to their overall positive experiences.

Loved the campsite, very clean, well maintained. Cell service is poor, but that was clearly stated. Great little campground!

We like staying at the national recreation areas since they are reasonably priced and offer more private, usually wooded, campsites. The Chickasaw NRA was no exception, it was very nice. The only suggestion we would have is to have a laundry facility available in the campground.

Easy access and clean area. Very cold, we were 1 of 2 campers.

Very nice, quite park for winter camping. Sites are not too close to each other and a beautiful park.

Camped here in January so we had the whole place to ourselves. Camp host and employees were very friendly and helpful.

We love this place. Sites are big and lots of trees. Plenty of interesting places to hike.

The campsites are spacious and easy to get to back into. Nice space to park a car also. I had an incredible visit to the Chickasaw cultural center. I arrived mid afternoon the first day and had so much to see I went back the next day.

This was one of the most beautiful campgrounds we have seen. I had always heard about Lake of the Arbuckles but we had never seen it until now. The lake, the tress, the sunsets - wow! There are some campsites that have a direct view of the water but it is easy to get over there to see it regardless of where you are. The camping spaces are big and it is easy to maneuver into them. All of the hookups are on the left where they are supposed to be (no sewer but there is a dump station on the grounds, of course). And if you are worried about your gray water tank, fear not! The shower facility on the campground is very nice (and it is solar heated so it is very eco-friendly).
