I camp during the week most of the time, this week was Wednesday arrival and Friday departure. Site L11 is nice, level, near the trees and is a lakefront site. The water supply hydrant is probably 75 feet down the hill from the RV parking pad. The gate attendants were friendly and not like camp police. Quiet, easy-going place to camp and enjoy nature.

The paved site for our single axle trailer was rather narrow which would have been okay except that erosion had caused a sharp one foot drop-off from the payment to gravel below. This needs to be repaired. Also, we had to be moved to another site because the 30 amp electrical receptacle was broken. The gate attendant was courteous and helpful with our situation and moved us to another site. The park is clean and well maintained with a nice shower building. We would be willing to revisit this park.

We were one of two campers within 1/4 mile of shoreline. Beautiful reservoir, roomy gravel sites. Helpful and friendly staff. Previous campers had left a lot of pop tops and other small litter, but was easily picked up. Lovely singing birds, cattle egrets, turkey buzzards and owls near our site. A highlight of our trip. Would definitely return. We camped at Pine Creek Cove in a Travel Trailer.

I was amazed about how large and spacious the sites were. Only 10 sites in loop 'O'....and mostly private. The FEMA built vault toilets were kept clean and stocked. Even though the website did not list picnic tables as an amenity, all had them, whew! We were tent camping on the RV pad, and there was plenty of room for the tent, truck and both kayaks. The host did not sell firewood, but told us that we could burn wood that we find on the ground, no cutting. Electricity and water available and working. Upon arrival, there was no barbecue grill, but upon notification, maintenance was there in an hour to install one. In our 4 day visit, we had bright/sunny, wind, mixed clouds, overcast, rain, thunder and lightening, all of which were wonderful. Our stay was perfect, and I did not want to leave! Just a great, well maintained campground well worth the visit.
