Our time at Rocky Point Campground was a wonderful experience. We had no problems with roudiness and uncalled for noise, as I have seen at other sights in the past. The Camp Hosts were always patoling the area to make sure everyone was having a pleasent time and policeing the area to make sure everything was clean. We have stayed in this campground a number of times now, and kinda accept this place as our home base camping spot.

Our fire pit was on a slope and was not comfortable to sit around and enjoy. The fire pits would be better on flat surfaces.

My family and I only stayed for a quick weekend getaway and were very impressed with this park. The campsite was clean with the ashes cleaned out from the fire pit and the site grill, no cigarette butts or crushed beer cans leftover from previous campers, no ashes to scoop out of the grille, and very quiet despite the close proximity to boat ramps, which were also very well maintained. The RV pads are spaced adequately to the point one does not feel like being in a cramped space just for the sake of fitting more spots within the park. The playground is basic (1 slide, 1 teeter-totter, and a set of 4 swings), but they are all of good and solid quality and are quite sturdy. This has become our new favorite campsite for these reasons.
