I came to windsurf. Lake access was good and any wind from the south would have been good.
The dump station was functional but could use a better drain plug and the threads on the hose end were unusable. I used my own hose to connect to my black water tank flush.

Taylors Ferry is our go to place. It's close to lakes restaurants and convenience stores. Kathy and Larry the gate attendants are always helpful and friendly. Very good atmosphere.

This is one of our favorite local camp sites. Lots of trees and lots of room between most all the different sites. All sites are close to the water and there is a boat ramp also available to all clothe campers at this site.

Some of the sites are reverse polarity. So be sure to check them. It needed to be mowed while we were there but never was. The bathrooms are rough but if you are in a rig, you don’t have to worry about that. The view is pretty and everyone seems to be fairly laid back so no partying or anything late into the night.

Overall the campground is old and needs some love and maintenance. The restrooms are full of bugs and dirt. Toilet paper got added once during our stay but no cleaning. The roads are in bad shape, the grass wasn’t mowed. The water access is amazing, most campers were respectful of the quiet hours, decent amount of trees and shade in spots. For the price, we will come back but we will be choosy about the spot we pick.

#42 was great but #40 & #41 need to be marked for tent or very small RV. I saw on #41 there is no land to walk around or camp. # 40 there were 3 different people that could not unhook from vehicle because there is a lg deep where the vehicle & RV meet. The volunteer host was aware. Told me to put on review
