The directions coming from Wagoner are wrong. The turn you make is a right by Morgans Store not a left as stated in the directions.
There are some low hanging branches that need to be trimmed.
The view and peace and quiet were great. One of the best parks I have been in recently.

We have been camping there for 10 years .. same spot.. this time on Sunday morning as we are cooking breakfast ( 9am) we was told we had 30 minutes to get packed up and leave cause they was cutting down a tree by our site.. it took us 1 hour and they stood and watched us, then when my husband went to talk to them they were very rude and said we should of been gone already.. wasn’t supost to check out til 3pm we paid for 1/2 a day that we didn’t get

camp hosts were both polite and helpful. The only problem we had was that the lake was so low that the boat ramps were hard to use or they were closed.

Taylors Ferry is a small campground, with many RV campers. Some sites are shaded, some with part sun/part shade. The grounds are clean and grassy, and the host couple is very friendly and helpful. Though the lake was very low, my grandsons had a blast walking across the rocks, finding shells and other treasures. My only complaint was the bath house nearest to the site we booked. It was very outdated, reminding me of something I experienced while camping with my family when I was a child. It was fairly clean, but felt unused as there were spider webs in places (though it being a campground this wasn't totally unexpected), and the shower stalls were hard to figure out. This bath house badly needs a remodel! But our experience tent camping was overall quite pleasant. We enjoyed walking around the campground area, meeting other campers who were friendly and not opposed to a chat. We wouldn't hesitate to book another camping trip here.

This was our first time camping at the location after many years of not camping. What a great experience we had during our outing. Our site was easy to find and back into. The one drawback to this site is that the water connection is about 50 feet from the site. Make sure have enough water hose to get from your RV to the water hookup. Not a game changer, the pressure was good and we had no other issues. The camp host were super friendly and very helpful. Once again COE has done a good job of make the necessary improvements and maintaining the park. The bathrooms were very clean and our cell phone cover was good as well.
