My wife and I stayed at Taylor's Ferry South from Sept 24th to Oct 8th. We really enjoyed the camp ground. It was the first time we stayed here. We really liked the fact that most sites were well shaded and the were clean. You are not far from interesting things to do. There's tours you can take at the old fort at Ft. Gibson or go to Tahlequah and your the Cherokee Village and see how the Cherokee people lived and worked back when Oklahoma was Indian Territory. If you don't want to site see then relaxing around camp isn't bad. Or if you have a boat go fishing or just cruise around the lake.
