We moved spots to a more secluded and shady spot for our second night, only to have the campers in the next site's dog broke loose and charged our dogs (one of ours therefore getting loose from her leash). The camper could NOT control their Rottweiler (not the dogs fault at all)

Was shifted around to Three Sites during my 14 day stay due to Flooding issues. Campground had allot of wood debris along most of the Lake front sites. Gravel Sites weren't maintained very well and not very level, at least the ones i was put on. Camp Host were very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay, the pad was level, good water & elec hook up. There was some trash left in fire pit, so I cleaned it up

We've been coming here for years. Easily accessible, scenic, clean and peaceful. Good rates for campsites with water and 50 amp electric. We use our Golden Age passports for additional savings. Camp hosts are always pleasant.

THIS PARK NEEDS TO BE MOWED! WE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT AND WERE TOLD IT WAS MOWED PRIOR TO THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY. WE SAW 1' HIGH GRASS IN AREAS AND IT WON'T GROW THAT HIGH IN ONE WEEK. WE CALL THIS BS. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT IT IS CONTRACTED OUT. SO WHO IS COORDINATING WITH THE CONTRACTOR? THIS PARK IS SO LARGE THAT ONGOING MOWING NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE WEEKLY. THIS IS A VERY NICE PARK WITH SHADY AREAS AND THE HIGH GRASS WITH THE POTENTIAL OF TICKS AND CHIGGERS IS UNACCEPTABLE. PRIOR REVIEWS HAVE CALLED THIS OUT AND IT IS APPARENT THAT THE REVIEWS ARE NOT FIXING ANYTHING.

This is a great campground that I visit often, very well maintained. However site 97 is not appropriate for RVs even though it was supposedly rehabbed recently. Trees on either side of the narrow slip are extremely difficult to navigate and there is insufficient space to extend a door-side slide without hitting the table.

Many sites had good spacing, plenty of water pressure, trees, and level paved surfaces. More than two vehicles, boats, etc. on numerous sites with most on the grass. One shower house near dump station was not terribly outdated but not clean the few times we used it. Beach close to sites or within short walking distance. There is traffic noise from busy dam road near the campground.
