We've been coming here for years. Easily accessible, scenic, clean and peaceful. Good rates for campsites with water and 50 amp electric. We use our Golden Age passports for additional savings. Camp hosts are always pleasant.

THIS PARK NEEDS TO BE MOWED! WE COMPLAINED ABOUT IT AND WERE TOLD IT WAS MOWED PRIOR TO THE JULY 4TH HOLIDAY. WE SAW 1' HIGH GRASS IN AREAS AND IT WON'T GROW THAT HIGH IN ONE WEEK. WE CALL THIS BS. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT IT IS CONTRACTED OUT. SO WHO IS COORDINATING WITH THE CONTRACTOR? THIS PARK IS SO LARGE THAT ONGOING MOWING NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE WEEKLY. THIS IS A VERY NICE PARK WITH SHADY AREAS AND THE HIGH GRASS WITH THE POTENTIAL OF TICKS AND CHIGGERS IS UNACCEPTABLE. PRIOR REVIEWS HAVE CALLED THIS OUT AND IT IS APPARENT THAT THE REVIEWS ARE NOT FIXING ANYTHING.

This is a great campground that I visit often, very well maintained. However site 97 is not appropriate for RVs even though it was supposedly rehabbed recently. Trees on either side of the narrow slip are extremely difficult to navigate and there is insufficient space to extend a door-side slide without hitting the table.

Many sites had good spacing, plenty of water pressure, trees, and level paved surfaces. More than two vehicles, boats, etc. on numerous sites with most on the grass. One shower house near dump station was not terribly outdated but not clean the few times we used it. Beach close to sites or within short walking distance. There is traffic noise from busy dam road near the campground.

I love coming to this location and the bathrooms are nice and clean. The mowing could be better. But one of the men workers is horrible. There is the one male and female worker that is great they ride the golf cart w/ their dog but the other male worker is horrible. He judged and talked crap about our camper. Then he came and pretty much accused us of stealing a camp spot and not paying then when I showed him proof, he started hounding me about having a electric child’s scooter in there. Then when our vehicle wouldn’t start we had to have it towed he was very rude when we told him what was happening. He also has a smart mouth as well. I love the place but don’t wanna go back because of him and his rude and hatefulness and judgements.

A good stay, obvious over crowded neighbors, lots of people lots of tents. Not sure of the rules, but always quiet by 10. Recommend
