The spot we reserved was in excellent shape. Lots of shade and breezy. Camp site was in good shape with a firepit and grill available for use. The grounds were well kept and bathrooms were clean.

Easy to get to, campsites very nice, although they are very narrow and some would find them hard to back an RV, especially a longer trailer, into. The modern restroom near the center of the park is much nicer and more user friendly than the older (almost archaic?) one near the entrance. All in all, a very nice area to camp, and the park hosts were very helpful and friendly. The fact that the campground has restricted access during overnight hours is a definite plus and adds a sense of security that is absent in less restricted camping areas.
Would definitely camp there again.

Our site had power issues. Only thing they could do was move us to another site. Mud and debris came out of the water spigot at the new site, ended up using the fresh water we had onboard. Campground bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and the place hadn’t been mowed in weeks. Stay away!

it was 102 outside, I went with 3 others...one with Alzheimer's and one with autism both not knowing/understanding dx. with lake was up 16.5 ft. should I say more? this was the only weekend we could go, my nephews are from texas, so time was limited. first time for the boys, I grew up at taylers ferry, 50+ years ago, but my husband and I camped a lot, but before our daughter was too ill to go anymore.
we had a new tent and equipment as we had given ours away to new campers. after 50+ yrs, I forgot (or did the system chg.) how the electric and water worked, thus we had none.
we had to call for backup for one of the boys...she took him home. I fixed a big hot breakfast got us, then we all sat under a tree to read. my husband asked why we were here....we then had to pack up to go home.
I was looking forward to this trip so much, but we will try again in the fall. thanks for understanding and not asking we to explain with my husband there.

My kids loved it. The spot we were in was perfect for us in the shade with a popup camper. I don’t know if I would put too much larger of a camper in the spot I was in because it is tight backing into the spot I was in. But it was perfect for us.

Very nice, quiet spot. Campground is well-kept and hosts were helpful. There is good fishing right off the bank and there were deer walking right through our spot. Our spot was nice and shaded, but the pavement could use some work as it’s eroded away in several spots, making it a little difficult to easily pull out of the spot.
