Chisholm Trail Ridge

The entrance personal are very good and helpful.

Couldn’t pull our boat up close to bank because of the rocks. We usually go to Kiowa Park 1, but like Chisholm Trail better.

Bathrooms were barely usable -- not enough of them, far from some campsites, and quite dirty.

This seems to be one of those campgrounds where people live long-term.

Wonderful place to relax.

Electric, water, was great. Location great. We did come down and mow the grass a day before we came. It was very clean, no trash anywhere, but the grass was getting high. We mowed and weeded our sight. Next day the mowers were out mowing throwing grass and dirt everywhere, which I know probably can’t be avoided. The main problem was what the mowers left behind! Mound after mounds and windrows of grass! This is not the first time this has happened. My neighbor hired my grandson to rake it up in piles (just so happened from previous experience, we had brought a rake). The mowers never came back and picked up the grass. Chisholm wasn’t the only area that was done this way. Kiowa at marina, day use area was worse, horrible! I don’t see why anyone would want to come there for a play day or picnic. We love Waurika Lake, but it could really be made and kept more presentable.

This is the third time at this camp, every thing was great. the park is very well kept, the gate attent was very frindly. we will be back next year.

Don’t know why it’s not open in October. It’s the best time to camp.

Very nice, quiet great location next to the water

The site we rented was plenty of shade and the wind was not a problem. Tge only diwn side was the boats parked in are only fishing spot

We had the perfect spot, the only issue we had was when we were able to get a little more time away to extend our stay our camp site was already reserved and we had to move someplace else and then still couldn’t stay as long as we would have liked so we just headed home a few days earlier than we wanted.
