What Guests Are Saying
Kiowa Park I offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious sites, beautiful lake views, and friendly staff. Visitors enjoyed fishing, the peaceful atmosphere, and the convenience of electric and water hookups. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, need maintenance, and improvements like closer trash disposal and better lawn care are suggested. Overall, many guests express a desire to return.

No matter what kind of camping you want to do, you will find a terrific campsite to do it here at Kiowa Park I at Waurika Lake. I often think that I should find another place to take my camper just for variety sake, but then I find myself here. It is just a wonderful, well-maintained and relaxing place to spend a week or a weekend.

There are way way too many geese in & around the camp sites. I was constantly chasing the geese away. The geese conveniently poop everywhere & I don't want to step on goose poop & I don't want my grandchildren stepping on goose poop. Where the geese congregate fir a period of time becomes an utter filthy mess. Get rid of most of the geese & campers would be a lot happier & healthier. There is a health concern here too.

It was very quiet and peaceful. We loved watching the hundreds of ducks on the lake and listening to the birds. No sounds of traffic. Unlike other places we have been, there were no fire ants which was wonderful. We will want to go back again.
