What Guests Are Saying
Kiowa Park I offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious sites, beautiful lake views, and friendly staff. Visitors enjoyed fishing, the peaceful atmosphere, and the convenience of electric and water hookups. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, need maintenance, and improvements like closer trash disposal and better lawn care are suggested. Overall, many guests express a desire to return.

Small pathways cut from camp site to boat ramps.
When camping alone it’s hard to walk from boat ramp sites to camping sites, after unloading boat. Be nice to be able to walk straight to camp sites with a little nature walk. Don’t mind walking but hate to leave my car or truck alone very long.

We had a great week! Our only problem was the electricity kept going off. It was very hot & was almost impossible to keep the RVs cooled down.

It was a very good stay at Kiawa one the only complaint if any what's a some campers had strung far too many lights on thier site. Part of the enjoyment of camping is not to have any lighting so you can see the sky clearly it quite well. They were very quiet though and did not start disturb anyting. I would like to see a little less lights if possible otherwise it was a good stay $20

We absolutly love staying at Waurika Lake. I wish they would maybe do more to keep the waters cleared out where you typically swim, like the edges around the lake where you camp. Not just the beach area. Also, maybe have some venders like an ice-cream truck or snow cones.
