What Guests Are Saying
Kiowa Park I offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious sites, beautiful lake views, and friendly staff. Visitors enjoyed fishing, the peaceful atmosphere, and the convenience of electric and water hookups. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, need maintenance, and improvements like closer trash disposal and better lawn care are suggested. Overall, many guests express a desire to return.

We reserved campsites 155 & 156. They’re large, open sites with both electric and water. Also, right across the road from the bathrooms. The picnic table is in a covered shelter so we had shade. We were able to pull our boat right up to the campsite and also easily launched my kayak from right there. The area had been mowed but absolutely no weed-eating had been done around the picnic table/grill area so we were cooking in knee high weeds the whole time. Also, the bathrooms were not very clean but they did have toilet paper. Bottom line: loved that we didn’t have other campsites super close to us but the weeds right where we spent most of our time were not cool.

Had a great time, we have been going to Lake Waurika in Ok. for about 10 years. It is a great lake to fish at or just have fun at.

We had an amazing time. It was quiet and peaceful. It was a nice change from some of the other places we’ve been.
