We always enjoy going to Lake Waurika. We were very pleased when the camping grounds opened back up during to COVID crisis. When we got to the camp site, the grass looked as if it had been cut, but was in need of cutting again. The grass had been so long, it could have been baled!. The bathrooms are in desperate need of attention. The spiders and mud-dobbers have taken over. The were spider webs and mud dobber nests everywhere! I did see "staff" go into the bathrooms a couple of times while we were there. Not sure what they were doing.....The floors were never swept. Trash cans were never emptied. Mirrors and toilets never cleaned. The roads are in desperate need of repairs. It seems as if the middle of the road sits about 6 inches higher than the rest of the road. The sides just seem to have dropped off!
What needs to be done to make some improvements to this campground??

Very nice camp ground, very friendly hosts. My only issue is the water was along way away from camp site.

Every spot on the campground seamed amazing hosts where so very accommodating and friendly to talk to and educate me on fishing rules for the area as we where out of state only wish it was a year round state park I wish I could visit more before seasons end

I really didn't appreciate the high grass that was at our sight when we arrived. Sat. morning they mowed while I was trying to cook breakfast in our outdoor kitchen. They then prompted to weed eat our campsite while I was sitting outside. I felt this should have been completed before the weekend.
