What Guests Are Saying
Kiowa Park I offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious sites, beautiful lake views, and friendly staff. Visitors enjoyed fishing, the peaceful atmosphere, and the convenience of electric and water hookups. However, some facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers, need maintenance, and improvements like closer trash disposal and better lawn care are suggested. Overall, many guests express a desire to return.

Very nice area with lots of opportunities for outdoor activities. Only issue was grass was very high around our campsite which meant lots of bugs. Also if you use the camp showers go early or they are so dirty with backed up water it becomes unusable. Staff was great, friendly and helpful

I visit Kiowa I often and as always had a great time during Memorial weekend. Even with the Covid 19 everyone stayed to themselves unless they had other family members staying also. The park staff are always professional and friendly. Looking forward to many more great times there.

This site shows to have water and it dosen't. You have to have atleast 100 feet of water hose to hook into the water with Site 110. We pull up and on the other side of Site 110 someone else had hooked up and their site did not call for water. We spoke to a Park Ranger about it and all he said was sorry and left. We were thankful we had enough water hoses and a three way split so we could tie in. Over all its a fairly good site. We drove for 2 hours to get there and expect to have what the website says it has.

The site we stayed in was good but the grass and weeds were so over grown in the whole park.

The spot we were in kept having electrical issues. The main breakers kept tripping.
