We have been camping at Wildcat for over 20 years. It is primitive camping at its best when the lake has water. In fact, no improvements are necessary, and we liked it fine without a signal to get messages or calls. The night sky is amazing, and worth waking up in the night to enjoy.

Due to the upcoming early closure, we moved our 47th annual Hyatt campout from August to July. How lovely to see our beautiful lake again! Lots of people enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, and more. We had our favorite sites, and hosted friends throughout the weekend. The hosts were friendly and the facilities well kept. Of course, we'll be back next year!

The campsites were clean, all were close to the lake and the bird songs and variety were amazing. The yellow warblers looked like canaries flitting amongst the tops of the trees. The camp hosts were very affable and helpful. This was base camp for us kayaking here, and at nearby Lake of the Woods and Fish Lake.

Had a hard time finding the camp loop, due to tree removal. Large clean sites. Quiet! VERY clean toilet area. Host came by several times to ensure everyone was satisfied and answer questions. Definitely come back to stay again if in the area.
