Nice campground with very nice bathrooms and showers. Boat ramps are well above water, but a quiet place (on Memorial Day weekend) to camp. Camp host was friendly and welcoming.

The facility was quite nice. Just wish there was a notice about the lake being dried — the campsite photo still shows water in the lake, so we were pretty surprised to find that was no longer the case. Still a beautiful place though.
Also there is potable water but you need some real strength to use the pump and it’s easier to have 2 people operating it—-one to pump and one to make sure the water that comes out actually goes into the container.

It is a lovely location. The lake was dry when we stayed there and the smoke from the wildfires was thick. We will come back when conditions are better. I remember coming here as a kid and it was great.

Camping was fun. Even with no water we had a good time. Enjoyed meeting and talking with the hikers going through.

We love this campground. Its not too far off the 5 freeway so a great stop if you're on a road trip and the hot showers are a major plus.

This was our first time at this site and it was a great stay. The bathrooms were spotless and we loved the hot showers. Will definitely be back.

This was my second stay this summer here. First stay was good. This one was makes me second guess wanting to stay again. The camp host (old lady with red haor and old obese man with huge beard) were incredibly rude when I used a restroom they were apparently cleaning. There were no closed signs and they loudly complained. Also they were not available when I arrived and wanted to switch campsites though they were supposedly on duty. Pretty site otherwise, zero cell service.

I wish the web site would have told us the lake is at 2% or less. Sure made the drought real for me. Likely would not have gone had we known the lake is dried up.
