We love coming to Union Creek Campground. From Boise, it's 40 miles farther than going to Ponderosa State Park in McCall, Idaho, a campground we also love, but driving on the freeway, the driving time is about the same. It's a plus that we also gain an hour due to the time change on the way over, making it seem like we're arriving earlier than we are.

The campsites are very spacious and there's plenty of room between sites. We like the electrical and water hookups; this time we stayed in the A Loop, so we also had a sewer hookup. Our dogs have a Burley trailer and they enjoy tagging along on bike treks along the shoreline and through the campground.

The camp hosts in Loop A and in Loop B, where we stayed earlier in the summer were vey kind and we enjoyed talking with them.

Our experiences couldn't be any better.

It is a beautiful area. Wonderful sites. It is not our first time there and it will not be our last. The camp host Dan keeps it so nice and clean. He was such a joy to talk to. Great experience.

Been to Union Creek a few times. Always clean. Friendly camp hosts. Nice having water and power and not hear generators running. One of our go to places to camp

Nice campground and well maintained. We had neighbors that had dogs that were allowed to roam free, they were luckily well behaved. Also observed on camper dumping his gray water tank into the brush, which is illegal. Price was a little steep ($35/night) for a FS campground but understand the cost of managing this campground with electricity and water hookups isn't cheap. We did extend our stay but went across the lake to Millers Lane which was only $12/night and was quiet with only a couple of other campers.
