I do not recommend this campsite for large groups. I tried to host a childs birthday party here and the camp hosts were not accommodating at all. We wanted campsites all together and that was not something they would allow, despite campsites right next to ours sitting open all weekend. We accidentally placed one camper in a first come first serve instead of our reserved spot (getting 11 reserved spots correct was a tough one day of). Camp host was very rude about our honest mistake and said they would have to call "higher ups" but our camper probably had to move. I understand not wanting to deal with changing reservations, but we also brought 11 reservations to their campsite that weekend and they were no where near full so it was a great deal of business for them. They then came around and would complain to us about every little thing that we were not in "compliance" with. This made for a very disappointing weekend. Definitely recommend choosing somewhere different for your camping trip! :)

We had a small group (5 trailers) camp out at Union Creek Campground. We were surprised at the group site because there wasn't an easy way for 5 trailers and their pulling vehicles to park. We ended up parking end to end. We wished the reservation site had said something about the type of group site it was. We were also surprised that sites in other areas had hook ups, as we would have tried to get 5 sites in that area instead of the group site as the weather was very hot and having electricity for air conditioning would have been great. The bathrooms were very nice with flush toilets and were always clean. The picnic area for our group site was large and had nice trees for shade. Overall it was a very nice campground and we would go there again.

Union Creek is always well maintained with helpful, friendly campground hosts. The facilities are nice and the area is beautiful. The lake (when there is water) is a great place for water activities.

The campground is great, it's the dump station that took away a star. It's on the wrong side of the road and not level; we're weren't able to fully empty one of our gray tanks, even after using the jack to raise the front end.
