Very quiet, clean, peaceful. Bathrooms were clean. I was able to get there in my Prius! The roads are a bit rough, but if you ride the edge of the road, it’s not too bad. Will return to this spot!

Such an amazing campground with beautiful river spots. This one just isn’t as good since it’s an inside spot and not on the river. But there is a lot of privacy. It’s super hard to find the campground due to lack of signage. So just be prepared ahead of time. Verizon coverage was superb with 2-3 bars the entire time.

Excellent camp ground! Weather was excellent. Hard to locate as gps took me on wild chase on the forest service roads but eventually found it. The Deshuttes river was beautiful and serene! Loved the experience.

The campground is very nice. Close to the river, nice walkable trails. We did have some issues however. The property across river is private and a large group of people were there, shooting guns at 8:30 am. Only one morning though. The main issue was getting to the campground. Numerous road number signs and Campground signage were missing. This was verified with the host. Navigation there is not accurate either. It took us to Wyeth Campground, but the through road to Bull Bend Campground had been closed for years. Campers there directed us through a very narrow, rutted road at a different location, with our 25 ft camper in tow. We eventually arrived at Bull Bend Campground approximately 1 1/2 hours after leaving La Pine, which should have taken no more than 30 minutes.

Did not get to go (again). Fires and smoke prevented our trip (again).

I used 2 different GPS devices to find this campground, and I still wasn't sure if it was what I was looking for. There was no signage of any kind, no campsite numbers, no pit toilet, nothing that looked organized. There were RVs parked around, but it looked more like dispersed camping along the river. It was evening, I had a 17 year old granddaughter with me and this wasn't going to cut it staying in tents. We left and ended up staying in a private RV park. Maybe I was in the wrong place, my fault. I've never had an issue like this with any other places I've found on this site. Wasted my money and my time, but then again, maybe it was my fault.

We had a lovely, large campsite right on the river. We did have trouble finding the campground. The directional signage could be improved and more robust.

Make sure to know your predicted wind direction when choosing a site i.e. site #2 has an incredible view but wind prevailing out of the SW at 12 mph came right thru camp. No natural wind breaks at this site.
