Didn't know we had to park car right next to the driveway and couldn't pull car in close to the table. Not ideal for a rooftop tent setup.

The campground grounds, campsites, and restrooms were in very good condition. We loved being near the river. My only complaint is that campers drove too fast through the campsite.

We stayed in site #4. Great size site that we could set up our huge 12 person tent near the front of the site and it left plenty of room for us to sit around the fire and also enjoy the picnic table and still have plenty of room. The site had its own trail down to the river which was ten seconds away. The Fall River trail runs along the river and makes for a nice nature hike. The campground was quiet and clean restroom. The site is next to the bathroom and you can smell it from time to time. Only major issue we had with the bathroom was when they came to clean it. It made the smell horrible and we had to go for a walk for a bit. It eventually went back to normal after the bathroom was all stirred up. Bring plenty of water and firewood for your stay but if you need more of it, a small store in La Pine was about 15 minutes away. Fall River waterfall is a short drive away (10 min) and makes for a short two mile loop walk. The waterfall also connects to the large trail system to La Pine State park which was a fun place to do a single track MTB ride with beautiful views of the Deschutes River. Sun River was a short drive too. Overall, the campground is located near all you need and super clean. I recommend it and we would stay here again. Any of the sites are great but the ones long the river are the best ones.

Great campsite. Ground was a little too dusty for our liking. River was great for our dog!

The campground was quiet and offered quick access to the river. We loved our time there. We recommend walking to the source of the river, which is not a long hike from the campground.

Pay all that money and I had to park in the street on uneven ground

Beautiful clean well kept campground. Not overly busy and the day use area is great and the day use guests do not wander through the campground.

Fall River is a lovely spring fed river. The setting is peaceful and folks who camp there tend to be quiet. It’s fun to look at fish. If you fly fish, it’s fun to catch them. This campground is a sweet gem in central Oregon. I even saw a bald eagle sitting on s tree branch.

Campground was clean, as were the vault toilets. We were there on a more quiet weekend and enjoyed having most of the place to ourselves. For riverfront, spots 6-8 are good. 6 has the most privacy but I can't imagine a 40 ft trailer parking there. We had to manuever a 20 ft trailer and truck into it. 7 & 8 are more like group spots but 7 really has the location. Fishing is great, evening sky is amazing - all in all, a good time at Fall River
